Prometheus Cave — an underground wonder near Kutaisi

Prometheus Cave (Tskaltubo) is Georgia's largest show cave — 11 km long, with a 1.4 km walking route open to visitors. Colorful lighting turns the stalactites and stalagmites into a magical scene. It is just a 20-minute drive from Kutaisi via Tskaltubo. The road is easy — any car will do. Tips: the cave stays at +14°C year round, so bring a light jacket even in summer. The tour takes about an hour. You can also exit by boat along the underground river. Closed on Mondays.
