Where the hotel is
Kutaisi is small enough that the argument between neighbourhoods matters less than it does in Tbilisi. What matters here is being on the right side of the river for the things you came to see, and having somewhere to leave a car. We are in the centre, off Tsereteli Street, with parking on site.
The address and the river
The hotel sits in a quiet lane off Tsereteli Street in central Kutaisi, close to the Rioni. Some rooms look out over the water — that is what the River View Double is named for. The setting is residential rather than a main road, which is the practical difference between sleeping and listening to traffic.
Getting around from here
Central Kutaisi is walkable and the sights outside it — Gelati, Motsameta, Prometheus Cave, the Martvili and Okatse canyons — are day trips by car. Parking here is free and on site, so a rental car is genuinely practical rather than a nightly problem to solve. We rent cars from the same address and run tours to all of the above.
